Glenn Munro has 31 years of varied experience advising clients regarding accounting aspects in many fields of business. His areas of expertise are primarily in taxation and business planning. He serves clients in areas including manufacturing, medical services, real estate development, retail sales, logging, restaurants, farming, ranching, and not for profit
organizations.
Glenn provides services including federal and state tax planning, selection of entities, and selection of retirement plans. He also represents clients during income and estate tax examinations. He is a Certified Valuation Analyst
(CVA) and assists clients with business valuations and with determining the appropriate structure for business sales and acquisitions. He is a member of the Oregon and American Societies of CPA’s and the National Association of Valuation
Analysts.
He received his Bachelor of Arts degree in business from the University of Washington in 1972 and has been a CPA in Oregon since 1976. He was a tax manager with a national CPA firm and has been a partner of the firm since 1983. Glenn has participated in local and national tax training programs and has taught at the local and national level and served as an adjunct professor at the University of
Oregon.
Glenn has served on many not for profit boards. He was a member of the board, and president and treasurer for the Eugene Family YMCA, is past president of the Eugene Estate Planning Council, was a founding director of the Eugene-Springfield Tax Association and treasurer and board member of the Town Club. Currently he is the treasurer of United Way of Lane County, on the boards of the Lane Community College Foundation and the Eugene Family YMCA and a member of the Eugene Downtown Rotary
Club.
At home he likes to hike or jog in the great Oregon outdoors with his wife, Olya and family, and putter with his never ending house remodels.
